Our clients will be either picked up from the Entebbe International Airport or a hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.

Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari - 5 Days

Queen Elizabeth National Park in the western region of Uganda spanning the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Rubirizi and Rukungiri. The park is approximately 400 kilometres (250 mi) by road south-west of Kampala, Uganda’s capital city.

The park occupies an estimated 1978 square kilometres (764 sq. mi). The park extends from Lake George in the north-east to Lake Edward in the south-west and includes the Kazinga Channel connecting the two lakes.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is known for its wildlife, including African buffalo, Uganda kob, hippopotamus, giant forest hog, warthog, Nile crocodile, leopard, lion, elephants and many others, it’s a home for 95 mammal species, 500 bird species.

Tour Itinerary:


Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth N.P. 

Our experienced driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel/airport and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda, we shall be having beautiful views of the Tea Plantations, and we shall also have lunch on the way in the fort portal town. After lunch, we shall continue to drive to our destination but on the way, we will see the crater lakes, mountain ranges, a lot of banana plantations and also cross the Equator line from there, we then proceed to the park and where we are going to spend the night inside the park while interacting with the wild animals as we prepare for the following day.


Day 2: Game drives and boat cruises

In the morning after breakfast, we will go for the morning game drive where we will see wild animals like lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, leopards 1000s of impalas, buffalos, Ugandan kob and many others, bird species. After the game drive, we go back to the hotel for lunch as we also get ready for either afternoon or evening boat cruise.


Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in the park and drive to Ishasha

Early in the morning after breakfast, we go for Chimpanzee tracking as we shall get another chance of seeing more other animals while you’re tracking the chimps within the park. After chimpanzee tracking, we drive to another destination where we are going to spend another night as the guide goes through the activity to get ready for the next day (the game drive for the climbing lions) and other species.


Day 4: Climbing lions

In the morning after breakfast, we will go for the game drive where we expect to see the climbing lions and also see other wild animals as well. After the game drive, we come back to the hotel for lunch, rest a bit, and get ready for the following day's departure.


Day 5: Drive back to Kampala

In the morning after breakfast, we will start our journey back to Kampala, either to the hotel or to the airport.


1. Gorilla and other wildlife permits

We will book all gorilla and other wildlife permits for your trip (subject to availability). We regret that we cannot refund any payment for a gorilla or other wildlife permits. We pay the full cost to the Uganda Wildlife Authority at the time of booking and the cost of the booking is non-refundable by them. However, we may try to sell the permits if you are unable to use them and pass the proceeds of any sale to you.


2. Documents

You and the other members of your group are responsible for ensuring that you have all appropriate documentation (e.g. valid passport, visa, health certificates) for your trip to Uganda and/or Rwanda. You and the other members of your group are also responsible for arranging appropriate travel and/or health insurance. You must carry proof of insurance with you. We strongly advise you to obtain adequate insurance to cover all activities you may participate in and possible risks you may encounter during your trip. Specialist insurance may be required for certain activities (e.g. white-water rafting, mountain climbing.


3. Our liability

We accept no liability to you, in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any indirect or consequential losses suffered by you or any member of your group arising out of or in connection with your booking with us. Our total liability to you and each member of your group will in no circumstances exceed, in aggregate, the total amount paid by you to us in connection with your booking (excluding the cost of any gorilla or other wildlife permits). We will have no liability whatsoever to any third parties. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits our liability for death or personal injury (when caused by our negligence), fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
