Mount Everest Base Camp Trek - 15 Days
The Mount Everest Base Camp Trek attracts due to panoramic scenery of the high valley, walking in the calm Sherpa Culture of Buddhism religion in the shadow of great Mt. Everest. Trekking route from Base Camp of Mount Everest is a dream come true fantasy. Chance to climb to the base camp of the world’s No. 1 mountain having a height of 8,840m is nothing short of a dream. The official height of the mountain is 8,848 m that is widely known to the adventurous hikers. This majestic peak, when surpassed by the late Tenzing Sherpa & Edmund Hillary in 1953, was opened to the rest of the world. The natural beauty of this place and the surrounding many peaks was relished.
To avail, the opportunity of this adventure, a short flight over the beautiful landscape from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, will land you at a crowded town of Lukla. Your adventurous Mount Everest Base Camp Trek starts from here, moving towards Dudh-Kosi River valley and a trek enveloped in the alpine tree line of pines & firs to finally reach at a higher village Namche Bazaar that stands at a short distance from Namche Thame & Nanga La pass.
Namche provides you chances to enjoy the Sherpa traditions of old heritage and custom. The market in Namche remains busy once in a week. A trail along with colorful scenery and views of Everest-Lhotse Amdablam help you to reach a beautiful point called Thyangboche. An amazing monastery here which was destroyed in 1991 and then renovated again is an interesting place.
After Thyangboche, the trail passing through wilderness and arid lands past Dingboche and Pangboche present sights of Amadablam and Everest. Gradually, we reach near to the main destination of adventurous base camp within Khumbu-Ice falls and majestic glaciers.
After spending quality time at base camp, head back towards Lukla and on the way back you will be mesmerized by the one last point called Kalapathar rocky hill. Return to the Kathmandu with brilliant memories.

Itinerary of the Mount Everest Base Camp Trek package:
DAY 1
- After arriving at Kathmandu International Airport, our guide will escort you to the already booked hotel room. Enjoy your bedrest in the hotel.
DAY 2
- You will be having multiple options for hiking. Prepare yourself and make other mandatory arrangements for trekking.
DAY 3
- As soon as you will finish your breakfast, fly to Lukla which is at an altitude of 2820 m. It would take approximately 30 mins. Then hike towards Phakding located at 2635 m height. Hiking might take 4 hrs.
DAY 4
- Hiking towards Namche Bazaar is very interesting as you will be viewing incredible points. Namche bazaar is at 3,440 m above the sea level and the trekking will take at least 5-6 hrs. Refresh and relieve yourself once reached here.
DAY 5
- At Namche Bazaar take a one day rest to recharge yourself for the next big height. However, make short hiking in the afternoon to adjust to the environment to avoid any untoward situation because of the change of environment.
DAY 6
- Stay excited about day-long trekking. Start your journey towards Thyangboche Monastery located at an altitude of 3867 m. This trekking trail takes almost 5 hrs.
DAY 7
- Continue your journey towards Dingboche for 5 hrs. Height of the trail is 4350 m and you might get tired during trekking. However, do not worry. The guide will let you aware that what to carry with to keep yourself energized.
DAY 8
- Take a day-long rest at Dingboche for adaptation with the local climate, however, make a short excursion to keep yourself warm for the next big day
DAY 9
- Hike to Lobuche. Height is 4980 m and gives an amazing view of the foot of mountains. Keep doing photography if you can manage to do so as it will increase your love for nature.
DAY 10
- Continue towards Gorakshep and then finally touch the facility of base camp. The altitude of 5180 m is sufficing for picturesque views. Reaching here might take 6 hrs.
DAY 11
- Go to Kalapathar of 5,545 m elevation and return to the Pheriche of 4,230 m height. Hiking trek will be of 7 to 8 hrs.
DAY 12
- March towards Namche Bazaar through Thyangboche to continue your journey towards the descent of the mountain cliff.
DAY 13
- Walk continuously for at least 7-8 hrs to reach the Lukla. In the afternoon, enjoy your time at your own will.
DAY 14
- Return to Kathmandu. Pack up your luggage for next day return flight. Calm yourself in a fresh breeze in the evening.
DAY 15
- Board your flight to fly back to your home from the international airport of Kathmandu.
