Mardi Himal Trekking Tour - 10 Days
Our Mardi Himal Trekking Tour is one of the best trekking route available for learners as well as moderate trekkers. It is one of the best choices for families with minors. There is no crowd along the Mardi Himal trek. This Mardi Himal trek offers the best view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Ranges. The most loving viewpoints of this trek are its Base camp, Gurkha Village and Landscapes. Stunning views of snow packed Himalayan peaks from small Napali villages are the best part of this trek. While hiking on this trek, interaction with forests, birds and wild animals, conventional huts and cute smile of local peoples are worthy to deal with.
The trek to Mardi is articulated in such a way that it gives you an opportunity to know about the lives of remote Nepali people. This trail is named as eco-tourism also due to the presence of beautiful forests of rhododendron and bamboo along with it. It is the finest amalgam of the sceneries of cultures, valleys, and mountains. This is the least visited trek and offers you an opportunity to peace. From the last few years, facilities have been expanded from camping to hotels and lodges.
The starting point of the trek is Dhampus at a one hour drive from Pokhara. The said trail passes through Jungle, at first going up the ridge, afterward drops sharply and then again gains a bit height and land into forest camp. Basically, the trail has sudden inclination but gets plain as the ridge is reached. As the trail moves away once again from low camp, the trees initiate to get smaller. Then the trekking comes out of the forest and touches open ridges where Machhapuchhre and Annapurna cast eye-catching views. Trekking for few hours toward Mardi Himal Base Camp and coming back is a long journey but the standpoints along it are mesmerizing. Then we can return down to low camp.
After we reach Kali Mati, traditional culture of Gurung and Magar’s people is experienced. Finally, we observe the exclusive living ways of Gurkha people and reach down through Pothana to Pokhara.

Itinerary of the Mardi Himal Trekking Tour: DAY 1 - Welcome to Kathmandu International airport - After your arrival today at Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be transferred to Kathmandu for the overnight stay in Hotel. DAY 2 - Scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dhampus through Pokhara (7/8 hrs drive) - After arriving today from Pokhara to Kathmandu to Dhampus, we will pass through Nepali landscape and natural beauty at a drive of 8 hours. - While going through the scenic views of Trishuli and Marsyangi’s conventional villages, typical Nepali culture will be observed to reach scenic views of Pokhra. It takes almost 1 hour to reach the destined position. DAY 3 - Trek from Dhampus to Forest Camp (6-7 hours trek) - It is our first day while trekking. - After starting our trek from forest campus, we have gone through the beautiful bird-rich jungle and moved down and then a bit upward to reach Forest Camp. DAY 4 - Trek from Forest Camp to Middle Camp (5-6 hours trek) - After breakfast, we will initiate our trek towards Mardi. Then we will continue on our 4th day of trekking towards the middle camp. These trails present astounding sceneries of lush green landscapes and snow-packed mountains. - We went through the forest of Rhododendron and the scenic traditional villages. DAY 5 - Trek from Middle Camp to High Camp (5-6 hours trek) - Our 5th day of the trip includes trekking to high camp. - We will reach Badal Danda via Rhododendron jungle. - Arriving Mardi Himal Ridge will take at least 4 hours of walk. And this is the place from where sceneries of Maschhapuchhare, Annapurna and Mardi Himal can be enjoyed. - Our stay will be here at high camp to have a nice view of Mountain Panorama. DAY 6 - High Camp to View Point then back to Low Camp (4-5 hours trek) - As far as the planning for 6th day, we will be trekking to our major tourist destination, Mardi Himal. - We are excited to enjoy the serene environment and fascinating views of the Himalayas and landscapes. - Afterward, we will move down to the Low Camp. DAY 7 - Trek From Low Camp to Kalimati 5-6 hrs trek. - As we will complete the visit to Mardi, we will go down to Pokhara. - We will walk past the villages like Gurung and Magar and will obviously observe their rich culture, traditions, and lifestyle. - Then we will arrive at Kalimati. DAY 8 - Trek from Kali Mati to Pothana then drive to Pokhara (4 hours trek, 1-hour drive) - As this is the last day of our journey, we will move down from Pothana to Pokhara on a jeep, the later is the most visited tourist destination. This city is also named as Tourist Paradise. DAY 9 - Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (options available) - There are multiple options while going back to Kathmandu. - You can travel by domestic flight, tourist bus or car. It is 35 minutes journey by Air but by Bus it might take 7 hours to reach Kathmandu valley.
